Oh the computer mouse, often taken advantage of, never respected and a mandatory requirement for any computer user. Computer mice are much like underwear (bare with me here), as in everyone likes different styles, has different requirements and would like something that will give them years of service in the worst of conditions. *ahem*
Now for the average joe computer user, any $5.99 optical mouse in the bargain bin will do just fine seeing they just aren't too picky. On the other side of the user spectrum you have the elite user (yes, you and me) which needs their mouse to perform flawlessly and accurate while in the Windows/Linux environment, but also do the same thing while gaming. Gamers tend to not like to be tethered to a cord and would like the freedom of a wireless which I understand completely. There is nothing more frustrating than to be lining someone up for a headshot when the cord likes to all of a sudden jam behind something on the desk causing you to lose you aim and your cool.
